Tonight is the night of THE LAST CULT MEETING EVER!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

What a pleasure it's been to have to deal with these swollen louts all these many wonderful years. I'm gonna miss this grand cabal of wayward creeps.

But, as George Harrison mentioned the morning after that storied bender he went on with the Maharishi in Rishikesh, "All things must pass, son...."

And so we do.

But, as with all the Cult Meetings this year, this one is open to the public. Come on out and see how we do. And, don't be shy, get in there and swing your arm and sound your corns as we wail out the IBW Drinking Song one.... last.... time. We start around 6pm.

And, to help celebrate this ironically sobering occasion, we've got a banging rock show after the meeting with Chicago's favorite criminals ARBOGAST, SONS OF RA and RICKY LIONTONES. Every one of these monsters brings the big news and you'd be well served to be here to read it. The flyer says 8pm but that's because musicians are wonderfully intuitive and supremely talented but dumb as a donut from a gas pump. Nobody listens. The show starts at 9pm.

Friday is our last OPEN MIC NIGHT. And Saturday is THRILLING BRILLIANCE. If you haven't seen Thrilling Brilliance do their thing live yet, then you best get over here and take your lumps. The tutelage is fine.

The final FATHER'S DAY PIG ROAST is coming up on Sunday, June 21st. We hope to see you here for it. Even if you're not a Father, you have one - or you had one - and shouldn't they be celebrated, too?

I've got more shirts and more baseball hats and more beanies in. They are going fast so get them while you can. More shirts are coming by early next week.

And, of course, make sure to get your tickets for the final June Crap Raffle now. The people that win tend to buy 3 or 4 blocks of tickets on different days. I realize that is not available for everyone, but, if your heart is set on something, I would suggest at least buying 3 tickets on 3 different days. And MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR!!!

There will be one FINAL RITUAL to bring an end to this project after we close our doors on Sunday June 28th. This will be a limited seating event with some food and some event specific swag. Stay tuned for ticket info on that, but, please, in the interim, mark that night on your calendar and take Monday off of work.
