Rainy Day Projects #5 (IBW Coloring Book!)
The first full moon of Spring arrived yesterday to provide a hole just big enough for John Prine's over-sized soul to slip through. I'll be taking some time today to bend an elbow in honor of John Prine's last great act - his escape act - I hope you can join me.
Radio Free Aquarium Drunkard is playing John Prine all day today. Or, at least they were as I was typing this. Even if they move on from the Prine tribute, it's a hell of a free radio station and worth your time. Aquarium Drunkard also does a great podcast. If you have tase in music, you'll dig it.
For today's Rainy Day Project, you're going to want to dust off that extra big box of Crayola's you hoarded during the last pandemic. You know the one with the crayon sharpener on it? That's it. You're going to want to keep a nice sharp tip on your crayons as we move through the Western Lands here.
We proudly present the Illuminated Brew Works Coloring Book (version 1). The talented Bridget Hapner applied her digital witching skills to 5 of our favorite labels creating this little activity book. It will give you something to show for all the hard work you've been putting into this drinking problem of yours.
Download the coloring book, print it out and do with them what thou wilt! If you've got one you're particularly proud of, post it up on Instagram with @illuminatedbrewworks tagged. We'll pick a few we like to repost to our other social media channels. If we repost yours, we'll hook you up with some goodies I am certain you will enjoy.
Below my "so long" is a list of where and how to get IBW right now. This is a work in progress so please let us know if we're missing something.
Also! I hope you participate in our daily toast on Instagram at 7:23 PM! It's fun and gives you something to look forward to each day. If you don't know about it, details are also below.
Since John Prine is gone now, someone else is going to have to surround this world with Boundless Love. Why not let that be you?
