This Saturday, March 1st, we'll rolling out the bon temps for our 4th Annual Mardi Gras Celebration and promising you, on the darkest parts of our Heart of Hearts, that it'll be another night to remember (vaguely).

This is always one of my favorite parties of the year and the perfect pallet for you beautiful weirdos who enjoy donning costumes and dancing your selves silly to Zydeco.

Providing said LIVE Zydeco pleasures is Chicagoland's very own SWEET POTATO ZYDECO BAND dropping originals as well as some beautiful variations on American songbook classics.

PizzaDom will be offering his delicious and fresh Neapolitan-inspired pizza and we'll have very fresh Unsinkable Slushy Thing on tap along with plenty other beer delights like Pazuzu's Pedals, Orange Sunshine, Brony, Grape Brainwash and more.

Like all of our Slushy Things, The Unsinkable Slushy Thing is a seltzer base dolled-up with 30% real fruit puree including Cherry, Passion Fruit, Orange & Lime. It tastes like one of them Patty O'Brien Hurricanes you'd get if you were down in the French Quarter on a proper Mardi Gras bender. But, you're not, you're here in Chicago with your troubled friends from IBW. So, let's make the most of it.

I'll be giving out prizes at my will and beckon. You can charm me, you can buy me off or you can lean into the fun and come dressed to the nines and roll the bones. You make the call.

The party will start getting warmed up around 6pm and should be in full swing by about 7 or 7:30. Pencil us in to your hectic schhhhedule and let's dance away the drearies a bit. Ok? Ok.
